2025 TAX CHANGES

Belize Clients: Celebrate the sweet news—if you earn $29,000 or less annually, you’re now tax-free! If you’re just shy of that, tax credits have your back. NeoPeople is all set to help you navigate these updates effortlessly—because who has time for manual adjustments?

Barbados Clients: The new NIS changes are here! With maximum insurable earnings set at $1,219 weekly and $5,280 monthly, enjoy the peace of mind that comes with automated payroll adjustments through NeoPeople.

NEW FEATURES

Forms Workflows

In this update, we're all about showing care by simplifying things—starting with your workflows! Needed an easier way to manage requests or assign senior team members to specific forms? You're in luck! Our new feature is designed just for that.

Introducing our new form workflow feature in HR Admin Settings. It breaks down approvals into just three effortless steps:

  • Step 1: Activate Your Form Workflows
    Go to the Form Activation Tab and select the forms you wish to manage through workflows. This lets you prioritize what’s essential for your team from the start.

  • Step 2: Set Up Your Approval Workflow
    Next, head to the Form Workflow Tab. Here, you’ll define the order in which approvals happen. Customize the process to fit your needs—whether it’s supervisors followed by HR admins or managers first.

  • Step 3: Choose Your Approvers
    Finally, visit the Form Approvers Tab to designate who will have the final say on each form. This guarantees that the right people are making informed decisions.

These easy steps will help you simplify your approval process and make managing forms a breeze.

SYSTEM ENHANCEMENTS

Time Tracking and Attendance Modules

We’ve made time tracking and time off easier by separating them into modules!

  • TimeTrack Module: Easily track clock-ins/outs, verify time cards, and monitor paid or unpaid hours.

    • Time Track > Biometric Registration: HR Admins can now view registered and non-registered team members in one place.

  • Attendance Module: Keep tabs on no-shows, see who’s present or absent, and review schedules alongside timecards.

Allowances and Earnings Modules

To make life easier, we’ve separated allowances from earnings—now you have one module just for allowances and another that includes bonuses, commissions, and more. It’s all about spreading love through simplicity!

Requests Module

You can now easily manage safety gear/uniforms or quickly renew contracts in one centralized place.

TimeTrack Module (Clocking In/Out)

We've added a fresh view and extra filter options to make life sweeter. You can now view punches as unverified, verified, or tailored just for salaried team members—helping you manage with care and precision!

NEW Payroll Dashboard

Our revamped payroll dashboard gives you a complete picture of your upcoming earnings and deductions—because who doesn’t love clarity?

Other Enhancements

Time Off & Leave” module changed to “Time Off”
Time Off Applications” tab is now renamed to “Time Off Requests”
Hours/ Days Worked” module changed to “Wages”
Custom Paysheet” tab is now renamed to “Off-Cycle Paysheets”
